Procedure Fees as of 3.7.17
The patient is responsible for the full cost of a procedure; no discounts. If a procedure is provided in addition to E&M and other services rendered during a medical visit, the fee equals the cost of the visit plus the cost of the procedure. If the visit is for the sole purpose of a procedure, only the procedure fee is charged (no visit fee). Fees are per site. Global fee: no charge for follow-up care specifically related to the procedure.

One of the most appealing benefits we offer our patients is low-cost ambulatory surgical procedures. The service that is most expensive for us to provide is ambulatory surgical procedures. Even if it may seem the procedure is simple and quick, keep in mind we have the following costs embedded in each procedure, not matter how simple and quick:

No provider is authorized to discount or waive fees for a procedure. Please comply with the Good Samaritan staff in all matters related to scheduling and performing any procedure. In no case should you perform a procedure that is not indicated on the super-bill. Should you see the need for a procedure that is not included on the patient’s super-bill, please engage the staff before proceeding. The Good Samaritan staff will hand pricing, consent, staging, and scheduling for you.

Patients: Please be aware that depending on what lab tests the physician orders, there may be an additional charge for those tests. The price will be discussed with the patient prior to any services being performed so that the patient is aware of the cost.

Care Visit Includes:
•    CBC w/Diff
•    Complete Metabolic Panel
•    Lipid Panel
•    Urinalysis (done here POC)
•    PSA (African American male over 40, Caucasian men over 50)
•    TSH (women only)
•    T4 (women only)

•    Physicals ($25) DO NOT include bloodwork. Any bloodwork done with a physical will incur a minimum of $15 surcharge

•    As a part of all exams (specialty and primary care exam), any lab test the physician recommends that is not included on the above list equal to or less than $10 will be included in the cost of the exam. Anything more than $10 will be charged to the patient, and the patient will be made aware of the price prior to the blood draw.

•    Depending on the age of the patient and the type of pap smear required for testing the patient, the cost will range from $37-$50 in addition to the cost to see a provider.
