Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even triple the amount of your gift! Some also extend this benefit to employees’ spouses and retirees.
If your employer has a matching gift program, complete the required forms and send them to Bridge Atlanta Medical Center along with your donation.
If you don’t know whether your employer has a matching gifts program, contact your human resources department. They can direct you to the required forms; often, this process can be handled entirely online through your company’s website.
While Bridge Atlanta Medical Center relies heavily on cash donations, there are many items needed by the medical center that do not require your checkbook. We graciously and gratefully accept donations of in-kind goods and services. In kind donations allow us to reduce our internal costs and keep our fees affordable as well as help us stretch our budget and better serve our patients.
In-kind donations (contributions of equipment, supplies or items) are much-appreciated. There are many items that we can use constantly, and there are some items that we cannot use. In-kind services such as clinical and non-clinical volunteer hours, marketing support, legal work, photography, or discounted fees for services provided to our patients. Donated services and supplies can also support our events, e.g. graphic design, printing, gift certificates, auction and raffle items.
